If you were to ask us how we would describe a typical Ferrari owner, we may say they have classy, high-end tastes and enjoy the finer things in life. This Ferrari F430 Spider, recently spotted out and about in California, is anything but classy.
These images, captured and shared online by Drift Pie Clothing on Facebook (thanks to Drive), show an F430 Spider adorned with a host of weird chrome accents that you’d expect to see a 16-year-old apply to their used Toyota Camry to impress their friends, not a Ferrari.
Very Special: Ferrari F430 Spider In Classic Marrone 1971 Paint Job Is Just Gorgeous
The front of the Italian exotic is particularly shocking. There is chrome trim around the headlights and hood as well as a pair of fake air vents and a Prancing Horse logo. Making matters worse is the ‘F430 Limited Edition’ badge on the hood and the additional chrome trimmings on the front quarter panels.
Evidently, the owner of this F430 Spider has an affinity for chrome and also slapped on a host of additional chrome parts, badges, and fake vents on the sides, including ‘Sport Edition’ badges. There’s even fake carbon fiber applied around the front and rear wheel arches. The disgusting design choices continue with chrome trimmings around the fuel cap and some added chrome across the tailgate.
Just how this Ferrari came to look this way is anyone’s guess. If the owner intentionally applied all these chrome parts in an effort to make it look ‘special’, we’ve lost all faith in humanity. If the owner lost a bet or perhaps let a kid run wild on the car to create their perfect Ferrari, then the design choices are a little easier to forgive.
