One of the hottest topics in the automotive world right now is the Tesla Cybertruck, whose design has split opinions like few cars in recent memory. It’s no surprise that people have jumped at the opportunity to make LEGO scale models of it.
Mind you, this one is not an official creation. Posted on the IdeasLego website, it was created by an enthusiast who took his time arranging the small bricks to mimic the look of the Cybertruck, and it needs your support to hit the shelves.
At 35.6 cm (14 in) long, 15.2 cm (6 in) wide and 12.7 cm (5 in) tall, the toy features an opening frunk and tailgate. The doors also open to reveal a similar interior layout, complete with a steering wheel that would make K.I.T.T. jealous and a small brick serving as the infotainment system.

Its creator is enthusiastic about the whole project, stating that it could be fitted with fully-functional suspension and steering and that it could all be motorized. Imagine that, a small radio-controlled and electric-powered version of the Cybertruck; sounds like something we could easily get behind of. Only to make sure that it stands a chance of entering production, even in a limited number, you may want to hit that ‘Support’ button on the aforementioned website.
At the time of writing, almost 5,500 people had expressed their interest in seeing it on the shelves, which has gotten it extra days from the LEGO Ideas team. There are 765 days left for it to gather the rest of the 4,500 votes, so head on there and show some love. Who knows, if it gets them soon enough, maybe one day you’ll find one under your Christmas tree.
