Some three months after the new BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe was presented to the world, the first official commercial for the vehicle has been released in the U.S.

The 30-second advertisement revolves around the idea that there are two options to living life. The first option is to do what everyone else does while the second option is to be a little more creative and to actually do things your way. The 2-Series Gran Coupe, according to BMW, is ‘Option 2.’

Two BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe variants will be available for customers in the U.S. The entry-level model takes the shape of the 228i xDrive featuring a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 228 hp and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. This model features an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard and can run through to 96 km/h (60 mph) in a respectable 6-seconds and a 151 mph (243 km/h) top speed.

Prices for the 228i xDrive start from $38,495 including a $995 destination fee. Should customers be willing to spend a little more, $46,495 to be exact, they can jump into the BMW M235i xDrive, BMW’s rival to the likes of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 and Audi A3 Sedan.

This variant features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that’s good for 301 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. Power is sent through all four wheels thanks to an eight-speed automatic transmission and the car can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and a 155 mph (250 km/h) top speed.
