With a front grille roughly the size of Jupiter, the new BMW M3 may look a little odd. The BMW 3-Series concept presented here also looks a little odd, but if it were ever to become a reality, it would likely turn many more heads than the next M3.
This widebody 3-Series comes from the mind of designer Emre Husmen and features so many wild exterior add-ons that it’d fit right in at SEMA alongside widebody supercars from the likes of Liberty Walk and other tuners.
Modifications start at the front, where there is a new bumper with carbon fiber accents and an extended splitter plus four small canards. Also visible at the front include a large hood scoop and flared wheel arches.

Next, we come to the wheels. Running on a set of impossibly low profile tires, they look much more fitting of a wild concept car than an actual car designed to be driven on the street. The low-hanging side skirts wouldn’t be particularly practical either.
Completing the modifications are flared rear wheel arches, a fixed-wing stretching off the roof, a ducktail spoiler, large quad tailpipes, and a distinctive diffuser.
We happen to think the current-generation BMW 3-Series is one of the most stylish sports sedans on the market and looks just fine as is. It doesn’t hurt to see what designers can come up with from time to time, though.
