Bugatti has been pondering the addition of a second model for the past few years, and a teaser image posted on social media recently could suggest that another product from Molsheim might be on its way.

Sitting under wraps on a dark background is a mysterious hypercar. The front end is partially visible, yet due to the lack of light, it’s hard to discern the design. We tried brightening the image, revealing what seems to be a slim vertical headlight that’s different than that of the Chiron and a fog lamp.

Are we looking at perhaps another ride based on the Chiron or is it an entirely new hypercar? Anything seems possible at this point, bar the crossover rumored to go into production. Reports spoke about an electric Grand Tourer in the past, yet that one still needs the Volkswagen Group’s blessing before it gets the green light and it’s probably part of the next-gen product lineup, given CEO Stephan Winkelmann’s statement in late 2019 that the company will resist electrification.

Another coach-built model, like the La Voiture Noire, made for an avid car collector, remains a possibility, and so does a very limited edition hypercar based on the Chiron. Last year, Bugatti paid tribute to the EB110 with the Centodieci, a stunning machine with 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,176 kW) that does the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.4 seconds. Keep in mind that these are all assumptions, and we should find out what Bugatti is cooking in the next few weeks. So, what do you think this is?
