The refreshed e-Up! has entered Volkswagen’s portfolio in the United Kingdom as the brand’s most affordable electric vehicle.
Getting the small zero-emission model requires paying a recommended retail price of at least £19,695 ($25,630), including tax. Compared to the previous iteration, the 2020 model year features a larger lithium-ion battery pack, whose capacity has increased from 18.7 to 32.3 kWh.
In the WLTP test cycle, this translates into a range of 159 miles (256 km), up from 83 miles (134 km), yet this varies depending on the outside temperature and driving style.
