Lorinser is currently offering over 30 ex-military G-Class vehicles from the Swiss Army in their original condition, with prices starting from 15,200 euros (around $17k at current exchange rates).
Branded as “Puch Gs”, the ex-military vehicles feature the three-door, long-wheelbase bodystyle and offer seating for up to eight passengers in their soft-top configuration. The German tuner, which happens to be one of the just 46 dealers in the country to be an official “Mercedes-Classic Partner”, also offers a number of hard-top models with four seats.

Prices depend on the condition, mileage and age, with the cars ranging from 45,000 to 202,000 km (28,000 to 125,000 miles) and from 1990 to 1996, starting from 15,200 euros (about $17k) and reaching up to 19,500 euros ($21,600).
These hard-wearing Puch Gs are all powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four petrol engine paired to a four-speed automatic transmission and, of course, four-wheel drive with a rear-differential lock.
As you would imagine are pretty spartan; soft-top models get rear seat benches mounted lengthwise, while the taller hard-top ones get a metal table and two individual seats with their own armrests, as well as shelves.
Lorinser offers the option of adding a set of 16-inch Dotz wheels shod in all-terrain tires and wider fender flares for 4,000 euros (about $4,500). Those of you who want something more, the tuner can also offer a full restomod package that involves everything from refurbishing the body, adding modern items like LED lighting, redesigned seats, new suspension and a list of other features. Prices for a restomodded G-Class from Lorinser start from 50,000 euros ($55,600).
