The oddball Polaris Slingshot has been teased with a series of modifications for the 2020 model year.

Believe it or not, but the three-wheeled Slingshot actually premiered back in 2015 and hasn’t received any significant upgrades since then. In this teaser published on Facebook, we can see that the updated 2020 model will feature re-designed LED headlights and daytime running lights.

A second teaser image provides us with an even better look at the altered front fascia where we can see that the simple central round secondary lights have been ditched in favor of a small LED light bar. It also appears as though the 2020 Slingshot has a re-shaped front grille and comes complete with slightly different body panels across the front.

It remains to be seen if any mechanical modifications will adorn the updated Slingshot. If not, then the 2020 model will continue to feature a GM-sourced 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 173 p and 165 lb-ft (223 Nm) of torque.

The current lineup starts with the entry-level S that’s priced from $19,999. One step up in the range brings customers to the Slingshot SL available from $25,499 and complete with a 7-inch multi-touch display, 18-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, a 100-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system, premium stitched seats, and a reversing camera. Other models in the range include the Slingshot SLR and Slingshot Grand Touring priced at $28,999 and $29,499 respectively.
