A rare 2010 Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 Edition is set to be auctioned off this month in Scottsdale, thanks to Barrett-Jackson.
Dodge introduced the Viper ACR 1:33 Edition as a way to bid farewell to the iconic muscle car before it returned a few years later with an SRT badge. Just 33 examples of the special edition model were launched as a tribute to the car’s then production car lap record around the famed Laguna Seca circuit with a time of 1:33.91.
Adorning the exterior of the track-focused supercar is an eye-popping gloss black and red paint scheme that includes a set of red wheels. The black and red theme continues into the engine bay as well as the cabin that features a host of black plastic and leather parts alongside red stitching and other accents.

Powering the Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 Edition, just like other variants, is a naturally-aspirated 8.4-liter V10 engine delivering 600 hp and 560 lb-ft (759 Nm) of torque through the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The multitude of aerodynamic parts, including the towering rear wing, result in roughly 1,000 lbs of downforce at 150 mph (241 km/h), approximately 10 times the downforce of the standard Viper SRT-10. In 2011, a Viper ACR much like the one being auctioned by Barrett-Jackson lapped the Nurburgring in a mere 7:12.13.
Making this particular Viper ACR 1:33 Edition special is the fact that it is chassis #1 of those 33, inevitably adding to its value.
