A beautiful 1994 E34-generation BMW M5 Touring has been listed up for sale in the States from Enthusiast Auto Group in Cincinnati.
Enthusiast Auto Group has a stunning collection of vintage BMW models and this car is particularly special. For starters, BMW only ever built 891 examples of the E34 M5 Touring worldwide and let’s not forget that it features a six-speed manual transmission, something that was dropped from the M5 many moons ago.
German Desire: Oxford Green BMW E34 M5 Touring Is Just Pure Wagon Porn
Powering the thrilling estate car is BMW’s S38B38 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 340 hp and 295 lb-ft (401 Nm) of torque. To ensure this power is transmitted to the pavement as efficiently as possible, the car features a limited-slip differential.
This particular M5 was originally built for the German market (the Touring was never offered in North America) and remains in stock mechanical condition with no performance upgrades or aftermarket modifications. Adorning the car is a stunning color dubbed Avus Blue and to get it ready for sale, Enthusiast Auto Group invested over $14,000 rejuvenating and restoring the car.
All up, the car has 40,523 miles on the clock and while that may seem like quite a lot, both the interior and exterior look factory fresh, so much so that you could be forgiven for thinking it is much newer than it actually is.
No asking price has been made public but rare M5’s like this don’t come around all that often and we’re sure a BMW enthusiast, particularly one with a keen interest in E34 models, will be happy to open their checkbook for this example.
