This Mercedes-AMG E63 S, recently tested by AutoTopNL and featuring a host of modifications, could very well be the ultimate performance car for a family.
Before the current SUV trend really kicked off, sedans and estates like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series, were considered as among the most desirable, plush, and luxurious vehicles on the market for anyone needing to ferry passengers and luggage around. For many years, the E63 has been one of the finest sedans on the market and this example is especially desirable.
We don’t have any information available about what company is responsible for the super sedan’s performance modifications but the car churns out no less than 788 hp. That’s a frightening amount of power and represents a big leap over the 603 hp offered up by the E63’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 in standard form. The car also features an eye-catching wrap and some aftermarket wheels.

During recent testing of the sedan, AutoTopNL was able to launch it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.06-seconds, a serious time especially when you consider the test was conducted on damp roads.
Thanks to its almighty V8 under the hood, the car continues to accelerate through to 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 9.72-seconds and runs down the quarter-mile in 10.67 seconds. It also topped out at over 300 km/h (186 mph) and still had some speed left up its sleeve – claimed to have been achieved on an unlimited speed section of the German Autobahn. These are the figures you’d expect to see from a high-end supercar and goes to show just how insane sedans like the E63 have become in recent years.
