Regarded as one of the best sports cars, the Porsche 911 needs the comfort of flat asphalt to prove its prowess, regardless of the iteration and build year.
This example is rather different than most 911s, though, as it was modified to tackle arduous terrains. Created by Smash Customs for the 2017 SEMA Show, it’s now listed for sale on eBay. If you dig the spec you only have a few hours to place a bid as the online auction ends February 19, at 3:48 p.m.
At the time of writing, the car was listed with a starting bid of $23,700 and no one had placed a higher bid than that.

You’re looking at a 1969 Porsche 911 with a heavily modified body and chassis. It rocks independent front and rear suspension with Exit shock absorbers and twin shocks on every corner. The 15-inch custom wheels, shod with Maxxis Bighorn chunky off-road rubber, spin well outside the arches, for unimpeded vertical movement. The project also features two LED light bars and a roof rack that carries a spare wheel and leaves room for other items.
Rounding out the looks is the matte black paint, which is the same one used on the Stealth Bomber – the builder purchased it from the Air Force department. The chassis and underside of the body were also treated with U-POL Raptor lining.
For safety measures, the only piece of glass on this custom 911 is the windscreen, with the car also packing a full roll cage, side-intrusion bars and a couple of bucket seats. A flat-bottom steering wheel and a full ARC audio system are also present inside.
