Citroen has revealed the facelifted version of its best-selling C3 hatchback, a subcompact model that rivals the likes of the VW Polo, Renault Clio, Ford Fiesta and Toyota Yaris.

The facelifted 2020 Citroen C3 benefits from a revised front end inspired by the CXperience concept, featuring a set of new LED headlights with the chromework extending to the LED daytime running lights.

In addition, the refreshed Citroen C3 received a splash of color on the fog light surrounds, new rear quarter panel patterns and a redesigned take on the characteristic side Airbumps on the bottom of the doors. There’s also new wheel fender extensions depending on the trim level and a range of new wheel designs up to 17 inches in diameter.

The new 2020 Citroen C3 also introduces a wider customization potential, raising the total of possible combos from 36 to 97. This includes new color options, new two-tone combinations, new color inserts, as well as new graphic packages. Customers can now choose between four roof colors, three roof graphics and seven body colors.

The cabin of the 2020 Citroen C3 has also received some love from the French manufacturer: for starters there’s a new ‘Techwood’ ambience available that’s combined with soft-touch materials and special stitching, as well as a light-colored trim on the upper part of the seats.

Speaking of seats, the revised Citroen C3 now features the Advanced Comfort chairs, known from the bigger C4 Cactus and C5 Aircross. The new seats provide better comfort thanks to their special foam on the surface and thickened fabric upholstery – plus there’s also a new armrest on the driver’s side.

The infotainment system works through a seven-inch touchscreen display and features voice recognition, Mirror Screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a free three-year subscription to reporting of speed cameras and danger zones, real-time traffic info from TomTom, an integrated dashcam and more.

The engine range includes a 1.2-liter Puretech three-cylinder petrol with either 82 HP or 108 HP, or a 1.5-liter BlueHDi four-cylinder diesel with 98 HP. Citroen offers a six-speed automatic transmission as an option on the most powerful petrol and diesel models.
