Say hello to the 2020 Yenko/SC Stage 1 Camaro, a muscle car capped at just 25 units and available through Chevrolet dealerships.

The car, built by Specialty Vehicle Engineering, uses either the 1SS or 2SS Camaro as its base and is available in Coupe and Convertible guises.

Powering the latest Yenko Camaro is a custom 6.8-liter V8 based on GM’s LT1 engine and outfitted with a large supercharger. The car also uses a heavy-duty cooling system with an engine oil cooler, dual outboard radiators, dual-mode exhaust system, a transmission cooler, rear differential cooler, and pumps out no less than 1,000 hp. No torque figure has been publicized but it’s likely enough to spin the earth. All 25 units set to be built will use a heavy-duty version of the Camaro’s available 10-speed automatic transmission.

Elsewhere, each Yenko Camaro comes with GM’s Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo six-piston front and four-piston brakes, a limited-slip differential, as well as revised bushings, springs and stabilizer bars. The front splitter and rear spoiler of the Camaro 1LE also come standard.

Just a single image of the car has been released. It shows a Yenko Camaro bathed in bright orange paint with unique badging, retro-looking five-spoke wheels, and a black livery. There’s also a custom-designed hood to house that massive engine and supercharger.

Customers will be able to customize the interiors of their new rides with upgraded seats and an available black and white trim package.

Pricing information for the 2020 Yenko/SC Stage 1 Camaro has yet to be announced.
