The owner of a fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro SS on Facebook, Hisham Mansoor, recently stumbled upon a brand new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and seeing these two high-performance Chevys next to each other is quite a sight.
It is understood that the Corvette in question is a GM-owned vehicle rather than a customer car and it is one of the first we’ve seen painted in Arctic White. Subdued paint finishes like these can be a little lackluster on some cars but we happen to think white works very nicely with the C8 and helps to highlight many of the aggressive body lines. This is particularly evident with the angular creases that pop out of the hood.

As for the rear of the new ‘Vette, it appears to be rather controversial with many people commenting on the Facebook post over at FBody Empire saying it is extremely ugly.
Regardless of how you feel, it is interesting to see how much more complex the rear of the C8 is compared to the fourth-gen Camaro SS that’s very simple and largely free of any in-your-face elements. One interesting similarity between the duo is how the small spoilers of both cars consist of four vertical uprights, including two in the center.
Personally, I’ve never been a big fan of how the fourth-generation Camaro looks, believing that it is a little too curvy and ‘soft’ compared to the first three generations of Camaro as well as the fifth- and six-generation models that have come after it. The C8, by comparison, is more to my taste. What are your thoughts?
