The 2020 Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid just made its debut at the 2020 Brussels Motor Show, boasting a range of 55 km (34 miles) in electric mode, with CO2 emissions of 32g/km.
Customers in France can already place their orders for the crossover, with prices starting from €39,950 ($43,800). First deliveries are scheduled to take place at the end of the first half of 2020.
According to Citroen, this is the most modular people hauler in its segment, with 3 individual rear seats, sliding, tilting and foldable, plus a best in class cargo volume that maxes out at 600 liters (21.2 cu.ft).

The plug-in hybrid 225 e-EAT8 drivetrain is comprised of a PureTech 180 S&S Euro 6 engine with 180 PS (177 HP), plus a 110 PS (107 HP) electric motor positioned between the internal combustion unit and the gearbox. The combined output is 225 PS (221 HP), with everything going to the front wheels, including the 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.
You can drive the C5 Aircross Hybrid in its all-electric mode at speeds of up to 135 km/h (84 mph). As for the charge provided to the 200V Li-Ion 13.2 kWh battery, it will take you just under two hours to re-charge with a 32 A Wall Box (with optional 7.4 kW charger), 4 hours on a 14 A socket with 3.7 kW charger, and 7 hours on a standard 8 A domestic socket, with the same 3.7 kW charger.
Recently, Citroen also announced that the C5 Aircross became availalbe with a new PureTech 130 S&S drivetrain (replacing the PureTech 180), sending down 130 PS (128 HP) with the aid of an eight-speed automatic transmission.
