Seat and Cupra will have one of the busiest stands at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, bringing a wide range of new models for their public premieres at the Swiss event.
Seat’s list of new models in Geneva includes the complete Leon range and the Tarraco FR while Cupra will celebrate the debut of the Formentor, which is previewed here in a new teaser image, and the freshly revealed Cupra Leon.
The Cupra Formentor is a sporty crossover coupe set to become the brand’s first standalone model. It was previewed by a thinly-veiled concept last year and judging by recent spy shots and this teaser image, the Formentor will hit the market mostly unchanged.

Cupra’s upcoming crossover coupe is expected to share the same plug-in hybrid powertrain with the Cupra Leon and the VW Golf GTE, meaning a combined output of 242 HP (245 PS) and an EV range of around 30 miles (50 km). We also expect a pure petrol version powered by a 2.0-liter TSI engine with 296 HP (300 PS).
The new Formentor will share the stage with the new Cupra Leon, which uses basically the same powertrains wrapped up in a hatchback or estate body. The latter will be available with all-wheel drive and a 306 HP (310 PS) version of the 2.0-liter TSI, making it one of the sweetest wagons Europe has to offer.
Seat will also have on display the rest of the Leon range, which includes mild hybrid eTSI, plug-in hybrid (eHybrid) and CNG (TGI) variants to suit every taste and need.
Customers looking for a sporty SUV will also have the chance to see from up close the new Tarraco FR, which comes with a range of exterior and interior upgrades, including a model-specific grille, new wheels, a rear spoiler and a rear diffuser-styled bumper.
The interior of the new Seat Tarraco FR is also fitted with a new sports steering wheel, electric bucket seats, aluminum pedals and the big 9.2-inch infotainment system.
