We are 10 days away from the Season 2 premiere of Netflix’s critically acclaimed F1 docu-series Drive to Survive. What makes this day special though is the fact that we finally have a trailer for it.

Season 2 will see both Ferrari as well as Mercedes open up their garage for the camera crews. The two were sadly absent from the show’s inaugural season, in which the likes of Red Bull, Haas and Renault stole the limelight.

Even Ferrari chairman Louis Camilleri described this show as a “great move” for Formula 1 in terms of bringing a brand new audience in.

We look forward to getting a behind-the-scenes look at many 2019 highlights such as the spectacular German Grand Prix, Max Verstappen’s stunning win in Austria or Leclerc’s performance in Bahrain.

We’ll also definitely get a look at the mid-season switch between Alex Albon and Pierre Gasly.

Some of the highlights of Season 1 included Haas team principal Guenther Steiner stealing the show with his bold approach to team management, the squabble between Red Bull chief Christian Horner and Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul, Romain Grosjean’s struggles and the tension between Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen – the two were teammates at Red Bull before Renault swooped in and signed Ricciardo.

Drive to Survive is executive-produced by Academy-Award winner James Gay Rees (Senna, Amy) and Paul Martin (Diego Maradona) for Box to Box films. The February 28 launch date was carefully chosen so as to not interfere with pre-season testing in Barcelona.
