Prior to customer deliveries of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale kicking off later this year, the Italian marque has shared vision detailing the production process of the innovative hybrid supercar.
Like many other cars on the market, the SF90 Stradale is brought to life through a combination of advanced robots and computers as well as highly-skilled craftsmen. With that being said, humans play a much more significant role in the production process of the SF90 than most other cars. For example, this video shows the car’s underpinnings being welded by hand, rather than by robots.
In addition, a group of Ferrari employees are tasked with painting the base layer of each and every SF90 Stradale before robots take over and finish off the job.

This video doesn’t focus exclusively on the production process but also goes behind-the-scenes into the design of the car, from the exterior modeling through to the interior modeling. Speaking of the interior, it too comes together thanks to man and machine with the latter cutting the leather before the parts are assembled by hand.
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is the fastest series production model ever built by the Italian marque for the street, offering up similar power and performance levels of the LaFerrari but for a fraction of the price.
Grunt is provided by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine working alongside three electric motors to deliver a total of 986 hp. Ferrari says the car can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds, 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.7 seconds, and a 211 mph (340 km/h) top speed.
