Let’s face it, buying something like a BMW M8 Gran Coupe is what you do when you absolutely have to have an extra set of doors on what basically amounts to a supercar in terms of performance.
It’s also more aggressive-looking and luxurious than an M5, and it seems that no matter what colors you opt for, odds are you’ll end up with a spec that people will easily notice and perhaps even admire. Take this Brands Hatch Grey model for example.
The color costs nothing on top of the car, and it’s not as flashy as a Marina Blue Metallic or Aventurin Red Metallic, or any of the fancy Individual colorways. Still, the design of the car more than makes up for that, especially in this Competition spec with the dark custom badge, shadow trimmings and all the carbon fiber bits.

Inside, this BMW features Midrand Beige leather, which like the exterior color is also a no-cost option on the M8 Competition. It generates a strong contrast alongside the black leather dashboard and carbon fiber center console inserts.
This car was a recent resident of BMW’s Abu Dhabi showroom, and while a full options list wasn’t shared, we do think it boasts the $8,150 M Carbon Ceramic brakes.
In the United States, pricing for the 2020 M8 Competition Gran Coupe starts from $143,000. The upside is that you also get more performance than in the regular M8 version.
BMW claims that this car will hit 60 mph (96 km/h) from a standstill in 3 seconds flat, and it’s easy to imagine why – its twin turbo 4.4-liter V8 puts down 616 HP (625 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque, sent to the road with the help of an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox and the xDrive all-wheel drive system.
