A quick-thinking motorist recently saved a young toddler from almost certain death as she wandered onto a road in Canton, Georgia. Bizarrely, the cammer was listening to a radio segment about the importance of dashcams at the time of the incident.
This dashcam video shows a motorist approaching an intersection when he notices a young toddler on the road. He initially beeps and holds down his horn, perhaps in an attempt to scare the little girl so she would run off the road. Before long, he brings his car to a stop looking to help save the toddler.
As this is happening, two cars pass the cammer in the left lane before a maroon-colored Ford Mondeo also brakes. Unfortunately, a white Nissan X-Trail was following the Ford too closely and ended up rear-ending it, mere feet away from the toddler. Evidently, the Nissan driver was closely behind the Ford and didn’t have the time, or wherewithal, to bring their SUV to a stop.

Fortunately, the toddler wasn’t injured in the rear-end collision and the cammer quickly ran over to the girl to make sure she was alright. In the background, a steep driveway is visible, leading us to believe the little girl may have walked out of the safety of her home and onto the road.
As for the drivers of the Ford and Nissan, it doesn’t appear as though either vehicle suffered all that much damage as the crash happened at very low speeds.
