Previewed at the Tokyo Auto Salon last month, the Honda S2000 20th Anniversary pack of genuine accessories will become a reality this summer.
Sadly, this will happen only in Japan as Honda Access has announced the 20th Anniversary pack will go on sale in the Land of the Rising Sun on June 26. For the record, we’ve reached out to Honda in the super rare case they’ll be available in North America too, but we wouldn’t hold our breath on it.
Mind you, pre-booking opens today and those who are interested should not waste time. That’s because Honda will stop taking orders on February 19, 2021, meaning that these accessories will only be available for one year. The catalog includes exterior and interior parts that make the Honda S2000 look more contemporary, as well as a sports suspension upgrade.

Priced at 170,500 yen ($1,520), the latter features five-step adaptive damping at the front and is tuned to improve cornering performance. Sadly, the automaker will only build 500 sets of sports suspensions so we can imagine the supply will run out in a matter of days, if not hours.
For the exterior, the 20th Anniversary pack’s main accessory is the newly-developed Front Aero Bumper (96,800 yen / $865) sporting a larger and more aggressive aperture than the stock part. The new part lengthens the Honda S2000’s nose, as the added material at the base of the headlights can attest.
Also available will be two reprinted Modulo X accessories that were originally available for the S2000: Trunk Spoiler Duck Tail Type (46,200 yen / $410) and Rear Strake (33,000 yen / $295). These aero elements are supplied unpainted but primed.
Upgrades for the interior include an audio lid with 20th Anniversary logo (limited to 2,000 units, each priced at 8,800 yen / $78), new floor mats with 20th Anniversary badging available in red or black (30,800 yen / $275), and LED white foot lighting (13,200 yen / $118). We can also spot an offset Panasonic touchscreen display above the center tunnel, but Honda doesn’t mention anything about it.
Finally, Honda Access will also offer a cover for the upper half of the car with commemorative logo. Designed to protect the soft top, windshield and side mirrors, it’s priced at 18,700 yen / $167) in Japan.
While all parts are available for the facelifted AP2 S2000 made from 2003 through 2009, the front aero bumper, sports suspension and audio lid are said not to be compatible with the AP1 (1999-2003).
