Kia plans on introducing its all-new logo before the end of the year, The Korean Car Blog reports.
The new logo first premiered on the Imagine concept unveiled by the car manufacturer at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. The logo is more stylish than the one we’ve grown familiar with and features more stylized K, I, and A letters that are joined together.
While recently discussing the launch of the new logo, Kia president Park Han-wood said “the new emblem is similar to the one at the Imagine concept car, but it will look a bit different.”

It is understood new Kia models could start to receive this logo from October onwards. In December 2019, images showcasing the logo were published by the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service. These images depicted the logo in both red and black.
It remains to be seen which new Kia model will be the first to adopt this re-invented logo. Some believe Kia will introduce it on an electric vehicle, much like Volkswagen has done by launching its new corporate logo on the all-electric ID.3 hatchback. Furthermore, in November, photos of an unnamed Kia adorned with the new badges surfaced.
As for the Kia Imagine Concept, Kia’s European chief operating officer Emilio Herrera recently said it will spawn a new production vehicle set to arrive in 2021. It remains to be seen how closely the production model will resemble the concept, though it is unlikely to feature the study’s intriguing floating center console and 21 high-resolution displays across the dashboard.
