The Koenigsegg CCX may have been one of the first vehicles produced by the small Swedish car manufacturer but it is not to be underestimated and as this dyno video proves, remains one heck of a performance machine.
Koenigsegg only built 29 examples of the CCX with base models featuring a 4.7-liter twin-supercharged V8 engine delivering 806 hp at 7,000 rpm and 679 lb-ft (920 Nm) of torque at 5,500 rpm running on standard 91 octane fuel.

During a recent dyno run with the car, Royalty Exotic Cars saw it deliver 653 hp through the rear wheels and while we don’t have a torque figure available, they wouldn’t be anything to sneeze at. Although 653 hp is impressive, it is slightly less than we would have expected and is roughly 24 per cent less than Koenigsegg claims at the crank. In all likelihood, the Swedish exotic doesn’t have a 24 per cent drivetrain loss.
In a bid to boost its performance, Royalty Exotic Cars is planning a series of upgrades for the car, including the fitment of an aftermarket exhaust system to help it breathe a little easier.
It’s not just power that makes the CCX a force to be reckoned with as the car is also very light thanks to its comprehensive use of carbon fiber meaning it weighs just 3,210 lbs (1,456 kg). It also sends all of its power to the rear wheels through a manual transmission and has a claimed top speed of over 245 mph (395 km/h).
