It doesn’t take an M3 to realize that the BMW 3-Series can be configured in ways that will turn various heads in traffic, especially if you nail the right combination of sporty and stylish.
Starting off with an M340i xDrive version is a great choice, and if that car happens to be a limited-production First Edition model such as this one, well, let’s just say that you’ll no longer be driving what many consider to be a regular Branch Manager’s car.
On display at the BMW dealership everyone loves to poke some fun in our comments (yes, that would be in Abu Dhabi), this M340i xDrive is finished in a BMW Individual Frozen Dark Grey metallic paint, blending in nicely with the dark Shadowline finish and the 19-inch M wheels.

This is easily one of the nicest 3-Series specs we’ve seen lately, and we haven’t even gotten to the interior yet, which is very special, to say the least. Pop the doors open and you’ll find bi-color Merino leather interior with Silverstone / Fjord Blue upholstery and Kyalami Orange contrast stitching. The 3er also features a leather-covered BMW Individual instrument panel, M seat belts and the ‘M340i First Edition 1/340 badge’.
Not your neighbor’s 330i
Powering the 2020 M340i xDrive is a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder unit, mated to the Bavarian carmaker’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system. Total output sits at 382 horses, to go with 500 Nm (367 lb-ft) of torque. In a straight line, the M340i xDrive needs just 4.1 seconds to hit 60 mph, meaning it’s as quick as a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera.
While we’re not exactly sure how much this spec is worth, we do know that if you want a new M340i xDrive in the United States, you’ll have to spend upwards of $56,000.
