Lister has shared a new teaser image of its planned Storm II all-electric hypercar on Twitter.
The sketch offers a side-on view of the vehicle with the title “Lister EV super car research.” The vehicle is depicted with a very sleek profile, a striking front splitter, centerlock wheels, a large shark fin over the rear, and a sharp carbon fiber diffuser. A thin wing mirror is also visible.
The release of this image comes no less than two years after Lister chief executive Lawrence Whittaker offered up a separate teaser of the hypercar that previewed its front end and side.

Lister has been wanting to venture into the world of hypercars for a very long time and according to Auto Express, revealed its interest in producing a McLaren P1 rival back in 2014 with a supercharged 7.8-liter V12 engine with up to 1,000 hp.

Times have changed and the most recent reports about the Storm II point towards it featuring an all-electric powertrain, if it ever does become a reality. If this proves to be the case, the vehicle could act as a perfect rival to the Lotus Evija although to do so, Lister would have to develop an electric powertrain offering similar amounts of performance to the Evija, including a peak power figure near the 1,972 hp of the Lotus.
It remains unclear when the Lister Storm II could be launched but it’s good to know the small British racing car manufacturing continues work on the model.
