Rimac is about to reveal the final production version of its C_Two electric hypercar at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and the company’s founder is giving us a little preview of what to expect.
Mate Rimac explains that pretty much everything has changed from the concept in order to homologate the C_Two for worldwide consumption. The final production electric hypercar is going to adopt a different name as well, which is rather good to hear.

Even compared to the prototypes, every surface of Rimac’s upcoming hypercar will be different due to either regulations or aerodynamic purposes; the front end will receive a different bumper, a shorter bonnet and a new pair of headlights while the rear end will featured improved aero elements and slightly different panels to fit the gear necessary for its autonomous driving feature.
Mate Rimac promised that the production version of the C_Two will offer, unlike other hypercars, a usable luggage space to make it more friendly to those lucky owners who want to drive it more frequently.
The biggest changes will take place in the cabin, with the company having separated the main chassis controls into three rotary dials to make it more intuitive for the driver, instead of hiding them inside a touchscreen display. The one to the left of the steering wheel will act as an ignition/gear selector, and the other two dealing with driving modes and torque distribution.
Rimac’s electric missile will be powered by four electric motors, expected to offer a combined 1,888 HP and 1,696 lb-ft (2,300 Nm) of torque. A 120 kWh battery pack provides the necessary energy to send the Rimac C_Two to 60 mph (96 km/h) in a breathtaking 1.85 seconds and on to a top speed of 258 mph (412 km/h).
