The Tesla Cybertruck is slated to go into production late next year but, if you can’t wait that long, Hot Wheels has a (pint-sized) solution.
We’re talking about the company’s new line of Cybertruck remote controlled cars which are available in both 1:10 and 1:64 scale. The former is billed as a “limited-edition hobby grade,” while the latter is small enough that it will fit on Hot Wheels tracks.
The 1:10 scale model costs $400 and is currently up for pre-order. That’s pretty expensive, but Hot Wheels says the Cybertruck has functioning details that will “blow your mind.” Among them is an all-wheel drive system with Chill and Sport modes, an opening tonneau “vault” cover and a telescopic tailgate that folds out into a loading ramp.

The company says the R/C car has a 9.9V rechargeable battery and can hit a scale speed of up to 250 mph (402 km/h). The model also has functioning head- and taillights as well as a “reusable cracked window vinyl sticker” which recalls an infamous incident at the model’s unveiling.
Buyers with smaller budgets can get the 1:64 scale Cybertruck for $20. It’s approximately 3 inches (76 mm) long and is far less detailed the larger model. However, it features two-wheel drive with Chill and Sport modes. It can also hit a faster scale speed of up to 500 mph (805 km/h).
Both R/C cars are slated to ship on December 15th and they’ll be “available to anyone until sold out.” However, that’s a bit of a misnomer as the models can only be shipped to Canada and the United States. On the bright side, the 1:10 model ships free and so does the 1:64 Cybertruck if you buy two or more on the same order.
