Tuning an SUV is never a good idea, as the revised stance could turn it into a confused hatchback-looking thing. We’ve seen it happen to the Lamborghini Urus, and now it’s time for the Aston Martin DBX to suffer the same fate.
At the hands of Lumma Design, the British model has been equipped with the CLR AM body kit, whose production will be capped at 20 units and sales will begin in the fourth quarter of the year.

The conversion includes wheel arch extensions, bulky side skirts, front and rear bumpers, grille frame in visible carbon, a new rear diffuser and tailgate-mounted spoiler. It also wears red lipstick at the front, sports more red accents on the lower parts of the body, and features the ‘Lumma CLR AM’ badging at the rear. Lumma is still trying to decide on what the best wheel/tire combo is before launching the bundle of upgrades.
Unfortunately, we cannot show you the cabin of the tuned DBX yet, but Lumma said that they have added an ergonomically optimized steering wheel, with carbon fiber inserts, custom pedal pads and more trim made from the lightweight material scattered throughout the interior.
Aside from the visual makeover inside and out, the tuner will also launch other components for the British SUV, which will include chassis modifications and extra power.
The stock variant has a 542 HP (550 PS / 405 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, made by AMG, which rockets it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and up to a top speed of 181 mph (291 km/h). It works in conjunction with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with active differentials.
