The Aston Martin Valkyrie has the potential to be one of the most remarkable performance cars ever and these renderings from Marco van Overbeeke imagine it with an eye-catching yellow paint scheme.

In July 2019, Aston Martin claimed that the first customer deliveries of the Valkyrie would commence in the final quarter of 2019. As far as we can tell, however, that didn’t happen, meaning customers will first get their hands on the game-changing hypercar this year. With a near-limitless array of options available, we fully expect to see some rather wild paint schemes and racing liveries applied to the car.

Van Overbeeke says the tiny windshield and side windows of the Valkyrie remind him of a submarine so he decided to call the finished creation the ‘Yellow Submarine’ as a tribute to The Beatles song of the same name. One of the renderings depicts the car with all of its exterior parts finished in a bright shade of yellow while the second rendering is slightly less in-your-face thanks to the presence of some exposed carbon fiber parts and orange accents.

The powertrain of the Valkyrie will truly be something to behold. Found beneath the skin of the hypercar will be a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine from Cosworth that revs through to 11,200 rpm and delivers 1,000 hp and 545 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful naturally-aspirated road car ever. As if that wasn’t enough, an electric motor and battery pack developed by Rimac and Integral Powertrain is also featured to add an extra 160 hp and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque.
