A remarkable 1994 Porsche Turbo S 3.6 Flachbau is currently up for sale from Marshall Goldman in Beverly Hills with a $799,900 price tag.
The Porsche 964 Turbo was offered in a number of different guises during the years and in 1994, was sold in Turbo S 3.6 form, complete with a powerful turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine churning out 380 hp and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque. Customers were offered a ‘Flat Nose’ option or Flachbau variant of the Turbo S 3.6 that featured a new nose similar to the 930 Slant Nose and headlights reminiscent of the 928 and 959.
Back in 1994, the Flachbau option for the 964 added a whopping $60,000 to the 911 Turbo S’ base window sticker price of $99,000. That’s a lot of cash even by today’s standards.

No wonder then that all in all, just 76 examples of the Turbo S 3.6 Flachbau were ever produced and they have gone on to become among the most desirable classic 911 models on earth.
This particular example is painted in Guards Red and is one of just 39 Flat Nose cars built for the U.S. market. It has just 18,616 miles (29,959 km) on the clock and looks to have been very well maintained. Like other Turbo S models of the day, it benefits from a host of upgrades over lesser Turbo models, including new brake cooling ducts, quad tailpipes, a larger turbocharger, ported intake, ported injector blocks, ported intake ports, and 964 camshafts. It also sits on a set of 18-inch Speedline wheels.
The interior also looks to be rather nice and features a host of black leather parts, including 8-way adjustable power driver and passenger seats. There is also a sunroof and a CD stereo.
Prices of other 1994 Porsche Turbo S 3.6 Flachbau models to sell in recent years have varied. One example formerly owned by Jerry Seinfeld fetched $1,017,500 at an auction back in 2016 while another example with 28,784 miles under its belt sold for $654,000 in 2018.
