Since the early motoring days, people have been searching for the ultimate daily driver. But what does a car need to end up on the list? Would sexy looks, great driving dynamics, space for the whole family and their luggage and quick takeoffs cut it? Well then, give a warm welcome to the new Audi RS6 Avant.
The ultimate executive estate, which is offered in North America for the first time, is a Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate and Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo rival, with dizzying specs. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which features a 48V system, develops 592 HP (600 PS / 441 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, rocketing it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and up to 190 mph (305 km/h).

Up to 85 percent of the torque can be channeled to the rear axle at certain times, and further improving the cornering are the all-wheel steering and specially tuned RS adaptive air suspension, with a sport suspension featuring Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) with steel springs and three-way adjustable dampers being offered as an option.
Speaking of things that cost more, these include the ceramic brakes, and only if you opt for these, Audi Sport will lift the speed limiter to 190 mph, as without them, you will have to settle for 155 mph (250 km/h). The new RS6 rides on 21-inch wheels, but with the Carbon Optic or Black Optic optional packages, which add the darkened or carbon exterior trim, you will get 22-inch rims.
Superior build quality and the latest technology gear are found inside, where it features sports seats, 10.1-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 8.6-inch display for the HVAC. The ambient lighting, fine leather upholstery and RS emblems boost the appeal of the car.
Don’t worry about storage spaces or room at the back either, because the new RS6 Avant is also very practical, in addition to extremely fast, as Autocar learned during their short encounter with the top Audi Sport estate that was filmed and is available down below.
