One of the first 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays to be delivered has just been equipped with a special MagnaFlow exhaust and to say it sounds good would be an understatement.
The C8 Corvette in question is owned by YouTuber TJ Hunt and is painted in Ceramic Matrix Gray. This is one of our favorite colors available for the mid-engined ‘Vette and looks particularly nice thanks to the various contrasting gloss black parts.
The guys from MagnaFlow actually used this very Corvette to engineer and test their exhaust system for the C8. As standard, the sports car’s 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 already sounds superb but the MagnaFlow exhaust helps to amplify the V8’s note to make it sound even better.

It’s not just the sound that makes this exhaust appealing as it also features circular tailpipes as opposed to the square tailpipes fitted as standard. While we think the square exhausts look good, we think the circular tips look even better.
There’s no word on whether this exhaust adds any power or torque to the Corvette but we’re willing to bet it adds a little, perhaps enough to lift the powertrain to just over 500 hp.
This is just the very start of the C8 Corvette tuning scene that we expect to explode in the coming months. Before the year is out, don’t be shocked to see dozens of aftermarket firms offering exhaust systems for the sports car while others, including Hennessey Performance, are set to introduce insane twin-turbo packages.
