Ford doesn’t officially sell the Mustang Shelby GT500 in Europe but thanks to Austrian company Peicher US-Cars, those in the old continent will soon be able to get their hands on the flagship pony car.
While we don’t know exactly where the company sources its Mustang GT500s from (it could purchase them from Ford dealerships or directly from the automaker itself), buying one in Europe isn’t cheap.
In fact, prices kick off at €109,990 ($121,462) for a standard model and jump to a massive €154,990 ($171,156) for Carbon Fiber Track Pack-equipped examples. However, it’s worth noting that at least one Ford dealership in the U.S. was recently trying to sell a Carbon Fiber Track Pack model for $185,890, so the European price isn’t totally crazy.

It doesn’t appear as though the importer makes any alterations when it brings in GT500s and that’s a good thing because, as standard, the muscle car is an absolute animal.
Driving the GT500 is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 offering up no less than 760 HP and 625 lb-ft (847 Nm) of torque. This allows the Ford to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and post a quarter-mile time of under 11 seconds. Mated to the engine is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that’s built by Tremec and shifts gears in as little as 80 milliseconds.
A number of styling changes further differentiate the GT500 from lesser Mustang variants. For example, there is a more aggressive front fascia with a bespoke splitter as well as the fixed rear wing of the Mustang GT4 race car.
