The tuning minds over at Wald International have shared pictures of one of their latest customer deliveries based on the new Suzuki Jimny.
The Japanese owner of the small 4×4 chose Wald’s Sport Line Black Bison Edition package, which without specifically mentioning it, turns the Jimny into a tiny Mercedes-Benz G-Class doppelganger.
The package consists of a new front bumper with incorporated LEDs where the fog lamps are normally found, glossy black grille with vertical slats, custom hood with power domes and air intakes, and extra lights added next to the blacked-out center piece, all of which, significantly transformed the way the Jimny looks.
Driven: 2019 Suzuki Jimny Is Impossible Not To Love
These are not the only mods, as looking further back, we can see that the fender flares sport a different design and the rear bumper is new. The Japanese tuner has also added a big wing to the roof and a set of custom wheels, shod in chunky off-road tires. The tiny 4×4 is finished in a concrete-like paint that is contrasted by dark trim elements.
In one of the images released by Wald, we get a look at its underbelly flaunting a new suspension that has further increased ground clearance. Straight away, we can see one major problem: it’s too clean, but given the off-road-ready nature of the vehicle, we’re going to assume that it won’t stay like that for long.
This wasn’t Wald’s first encounter with the new Jimny, and it’s not the last one either. On two different occasions, the SUV has received a similar makeover, inspired by the real G-Class. Our favorite project so far is the murdered-out build, with jacked-up ground clearance, additional lights and fat tires, which you can check out here.
