Car designers are continually looking for ways to reinvent the car as we know it and with the rise of electric powertrains, some uniquely-shaped vehicles have started to appear. This Bentley concept designed by Joseph Robinson is one of them.
The eye-catching independent study, dubbed the Bentley Centanne, has been designed to sit on an electric platform with in-hub electric motors and adopts an intriguing modular design with various different cabins that can be installed. These include everything from a coupe cabin, a crossover cabin, and as pictured, a Shooting Brake style cabin. Lifestyle cabins such as those focused on hunting or fly fishing could also be fitted.

In the pictured Shooting Brake guise, the Bentley has an intriguing rear cabin that supports a C-shaped rear bench seat and a rear-end that can be opened up, turning the back into a comfortable place to sit and gaze up at the night sky. The concept also features more traditional front-facing seats in the front half of the interior.
There are a number of other interesting design elements adorning the vehicle. For example, there is a complex front grille, neatly incorporating a large number ‘8’. The concept also features LED headlights and taillights as well as a set of huge wheels.
Bentley announced earlier this year that it could launch its first all-electric production vehicle by the year 2025. It remains to be seen what body style this EV will adopt but we’d be shocked if it was a Shooting Brake like the Centanne pictured.
