Is the road-going Porsche 911 GT2 RS not quite fast enough for you? Well, the German marque has just the ride for you and it comes in the form of the GT2 RS Clubsport, unveiled back at the 2018 LA Auto Show as a track-only model limited to just 200 units. One of these 200 examples will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s at Amelia Island on March 6-7.
Like the street car, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport features a 3.8-liter flat-six twin-turbocharged engine delivering 690 hp. Making the Clubsport special is the fact that this engine is coupled to a rigidly mounted seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Also found is Porsche Stability Management, traction control, and ABS systems, all of which can be adjusted on the fly or switched off entirely.

The car in question has never been used and will be sold in factory-fresh condition. It is bathed in white paint and outfitted with a plethora of carbon fiber exterior parts, including the rear bumper and the massive rear wing. In addition, the car’s roof and hood are also finished in exposed carbon fiber with a gloss finish. It all looks rather serious and is number 85 of the 200 built.
Porsche didn’t hold back with the GT2 RS Clubsport’s interior as it lacks virtually all of the creature comforts of the road-going model and features a Recaro racing seat, a racing steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, and an exposed roll cage.
RM Sotheby’s expects the car to sell for between $360,000 and $400,000.
