We live in unprecedented times where a large part of the world is either in lockdown or will be soon because of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

In times like these, a camper trailer is probably not on your list of priorities but we’ve found one that will likely make you forget about the current crisis for the next five minutes.

We bring you the Bruder EXP-6 GT, an expedition trailer built to go anywhere, provided that the vehicle towing it is up to the task, obviously. Built by an Australian company to withstand the challenges of The Outback (and any other difficult terrain, for that matter), the EXP-6 GT boasts a huge ground clearance of 650 mm (25.6 in).

It also features an individually adjustable air suspension with a multi-link setup, and a rock-solid chassis that can cope with knee-deep holes. Furthermore, the cabin is watertight and can even float.

That’s not all. It comes with its own winch and a steel cable to pull itself out of the dirt when the going gets tough. There are many off-road trailers on the market, but what makes the EXP-6 GT special is its size. While most off-road camper trailers are rather small, this one measures 6.7 meters (263.8 in) from one end to the other, which means it offers all the amenities expected from a trailer of this size.

These include an extendable roof that offers more breathing space in the master bedroom, two longitudinal sofas that can also be used as beds, a kitchen area designed for use both inside and outside the trailer, a bathroom, small washing machine, an outdoor shower, a solar power system, 170-liter water tank, 225 Ah lithium battery, and much more.

If you’ve got the dough, you can tailor the EXP-6 GT to suit your taste but be aware that prices start at around $100,000.
