Callaway has just rolled out a comprehensive modification package for the previous-generation GMC Yukon, providing owners with a host of options to increase the performance of their SUVs.
The range-topping upgrade package offered for the Yukon sees the available 6.2-liter V8 engine outfitted with the aftermarket firm’s GenThree supercar and intercooler setup. In addition, there is a new air intake system and low-restriction exhaust fitted, allowing the big SUV to churn out 560 hp. Yukon owners with the smaller 5.3-liter V8 can also order Callaway’s supercharger upgrade but power is capped at 480 horses.

Complementing the engine modifications are a number of available visual tweaks. These include embroidered floor mats, various badges across the exterior and throughout the cabin, a documentation package, a special plaque in the engine bay, and Callaway key fobs. Callaway can also fit a sport steering wheel and pedals.
Fittingly, various other mechanical upgrades are available. These include enlarged brakes, available ‘Rough Terrain’ and ‘Handling’ suspension packages, and a host of different 20-inch and 22-inch wheel options.
Supercharging an SUV like the GMC Yukon is not for the faint of heart but Callaway customers can rest easy knowing that 3-year / 36,000-mile and 5-year/60,000-mile warranties are available.
Compared to the GMC Yukon in question, the latest-generation model looks to be massively improved. The new standard Yukon is 6.1-inches (155 mm) longer and has a 4.9-inch (124 mm) longer wheelbase than the previous model. This makes the cabin much more spacious and also improves cargo space.
