A fresh batch of 2021 Audi e-tron GT spy shots have come our way and we’ve added them to the gallery below for your viewing pleasure. Audi’s upcoming electric sedan promises to be quite a looker indeed. [Update 3/11/2020]

Audi’s all-electric super sedan, the e-tron GT, is on the way of no return to becoming a production model.

Unveiled in concept form at the 2018 LA Auto Show, the Audi e-tron GT has made the transition to test prototype and we have the first spy shots that prove it. That’s great news but what’s even more exciting is the fact the production model’s styling will stay remarkably close to the sleek concept.

Peel away the camouflage and you’re left with the same dramatic looks of the concept, though Audi decided to integrate door handles to the production car. Additionally, the interior is expected to mirror the study right down to the most minor details.

Based on the same J1 performance platform as the Porsche Taycan, the Audi e-tron GT is likely to share the same battery capacity. At the concept’s debut, the automaker mentioned a power output of 434 kW (590 PS / 582 HP) but word on the street is the e-tron GT will be available with two power levels, with this one likely being the base one.

Mind you, even the entry-level e-tron GT will offer impressive performance. 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) will take 3.5 seconds, 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) 12 seconds, and the top speed will be limited to 240 km/h (149 mph) for EV range purposes.

Speaking of the driving range, Audi said the e-tron GT Concept was able to cover 400 km (248 miles) on a single charge, which should remain true for the production model as well – at least in base specification.

Given that Audi has just released test prototypes in the wild, expect the production e-tron GT to debut towards the end of this year as a 2021 model.
