Last August, Rolls-Royce unveiled its Pebble Beach 2019 Collection of cars, a trio that included a Dawn Black Badge featuring a bespoke exterior finish.
The special hue is called Coral Solid, and carries over to the Bespoke Aero Cowling, giving this Dawn a rather youthful aesthetic. Now, if you’re a fan, you’ll be happy to know that we managed to find a couple of fresh images, showcasing both the exterior as well as the cabin.
It took seven coats of paint and over nine hours of hand-polishing at the Surface Finish Center in Goodwood for Rolls-Royce engineers to finally get the job done as far as the color was concerned.

The interior meanwhile is finished in Arctic White and Sunset, inspired by the northern California hills and valleys. Overall, we’re looking at a tri-tone aesthetic, with white leather seamlessly blending in with more coral, plus the black leather found on the dashboard.
Furthermore, the seats and the door panels feature coral stitching and piping, for more of the same Californian vibe. And to be fair, it works pretty well as a theme – as in, it’s much easier picturing this car on a winding road in sunny SoCal, rather than somewhere in the UK.
Aside from being all fancy-like, the Dawn Black Badge is also quite a capable brute in a straight line. It is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 unit, producing 593 HP (601 PS) and 620 lb-ft (840 Nm) of torque, instead of the regular Dawn’s 563 HP (571 PS) and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm).
In a straight line, this drop top Rolls will take you from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.8 seconds, before maxing out at an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h).
