Hispano Suiza took to the internet to promote the Carmen. The electric model was presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and sports a daring design that combines classic and futuristic styling.
It may have blended in with other production cars and concepts on the showroom floor, but the Carmen is a notable presence on the road. And this is the message sent by the company in the official video released on YouTube and shared at the bottom of the page, which also speaks about other aspects of the model.

Bold looks aside, the Carmen is very powerful. It packs two electric motors that power the rear wheels, for a combined output of 1,005 HP (1,019 PS / 750 kW). The official estimate for the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration is under 3 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). The zero-emission hyper GT takes energy from an 80 kWh battery pack.
Earlier this month, Hispano Suiza presented another interpretation of the electric hyper GT. It’s called the Carmen Boulogne boasting an exposed carbon fiber body, carbon ceramic brakes, a trimmed up interior with Alcantara and suede, a 10.1-inch infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.
The special edition has an updated electric powertrain that retains the recipe: two motors powering the rear wheels, although this time they produce a total of 1,100 HP (1,115 PS / 820 kW), and a peak torque of 1,180 pound-feet (1,600 Nm). The 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint is dispatched in less than 2.6 seconds and top speed is 180 mph (290 km/h). The 80 kWh battery hands it a range of over 249 miles (400 km) in the old NEDC.
