The future of the 2020 Formula 1 season remains up in the air due to ongoing coronavirus fears, meaning it has almost been four months since the last race. The current season was meant to kick off in Australia but we all know how that played out.
Evidently, as more and more cities and countries around the world get locked down, it’s inevitable that race circuits will be left deserted and the roads will slowly clear of traffic. One thing that will remain, however, will be the presence of delivery vehicles, including those from Amazon. With this in mind, the ESPN F1 page on Facebook recently shared a hilarious CGI video of an Amazon box lapping the famed Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

The clip, complete with the engine sounds of a V8-powered F1 car, shows the Amazon box leaving the pits before completing a flying lap of the circuit. During the lap, the box even screams through the Eau Rouge and Raidillon corners, kicking up sparks as it bottoms out through the circuit’s two most famous corners.
Obviously, the entire clip is computer generated but it is quite realistic. That is, of course, until you realize there’s a cardboard box driving around as opposed to a Formula 1 car.
But hey, as one commenter on Facebook points, out, this Amazon box would probably be quicker around the circuit than the Williams F1 car will be this season.
