The Bugatti family is steadily growing with a raft of new Chiron-based models and soon, an all-new second model tipped to take the form of an SUV. In all likelihood, the expansion of the Bugatti range will stop there but if in an alternate universe the French marque were to take a leaf out of Tesla’s playbook, it could launch a semi-truck unlike any other.
It goes without saying that such a vehicle from Bugatti will never see the light of day but designer Prathyush Devadas has imagined what a Bugatti Hyper Truck could look like.
The front end of the vehicle adopts the shape of a ‘C’, one of Bugatti’s key design lines, and features a single-passenger cab that puts the driver right in the center and suspended in a little floating pod clad in glass.

You’ll also undoubtedly notice that the Bugatti Hyper Truck is incredibly slender. While this would significantly cut down on cargo space, it could help the truck slip through the air and achieve speeds unheard of in a road-going semi. We can’t imagine it eclipsing the 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h) top speed of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ but it would certainly be no slouch.
Another interesting aspect of the truck’s design is the fact that it features a single axle at the front and three axles at the rear. All eight wheels also feature aero covers to aid in aerodynamics.
As we said, there’s no way Bugatti will ever produce a ‘Hyper Truck’ like the one depicted. In fact, there’s probably a greater chance of the carmaker building a city car. Nevertheless, it’s fascinating to wonder ‘what if?’
