We’ll have to wait until fall to see James Bond’s new rides in No Time to Die as the film has been delayed by more than seven months over concerns that the coronavirus will negatively impact its success at the box office.
No Time to Die is shaping up to be action-packed and will feature a host of impressive vehicles, including the all-new Land Rover Defender as well as an Aston Martin DB5, a classic V8 Vantage, the DBS Superleggera, and the forthcoming Valhalla hypercar.
The film had originally been scheduled for release in the UK and international markets on April 2 and in the U.S. on April 10. It will now premiere on November 12, 2020 in the UK and international markets and November 25, 2020 in the United States.
“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of No Time to Die will be postponed until November 2020,” the three studios behind the film told Deadline.

The Asian market has become increasingly important for big films in recent years. China has already shut 70,000 theaters across the country in a bid to help stop the spread of the coronavirus and many theaters in Korea, Japan, Italy, and France are also being shut. Releasing the film at such a time would leave a lot of potential earnings on the table.
The last four James Bond films to star Daniel Craig – Spectre, Skyfall, Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale, have grossed no less than $3.2 billion combined. Skyfall was the biggest earner of them all, bringing in $1.1 billion at the box office.
