If you’re looking for one of the rawest experiences in the hypercar realm, things don’t get much hairier than a Maserati MC12 Corsa, like the one featured here.
Maserati offered just 50 examples of the road-going MC12 that was built around the chassis of the Enzo Ferrari to the public, making it already one of the rarest supercars around, but the Versione Corsa models are the ones you really should take notice.
This bright orange Maserati MC12 Corsa is one of the just 12 examples ever built, and originally offered to the company’s favored clients by invitation only, as a no-restrictions development of the GT1 race car that dominated the period’s FIA GT Championship.

This Italian thoroughbred is now offered for sale from Girardo for a price upon request, presenting a truly rare opportunity for collectors across the world. MC12 Corsas originally left the factory with a non road-legal status but we’ve seen some examples in the past being converted for use on the public roads.
Power comes from a race version of the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 that produces an astonishing 755 HP at 8,000 rpm, sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential Cambiocorsa transmission. The scream of the V12 alone should justify the price.
Combine it with a weight figure of just 1,150 kg (2,535 lbs) and is no wonder why Maserati claimed a 0-124 mph (200 km/h) in a breathtaking 6.4 seconds. Top speed is 202 mph (326 km/h), if you must.
Without any doubt, the lucky new owner of this Maserati MC12 Corsa will be rewarded by one of the rawest driving experiences found in a hypercar.
