The third generation Toyota Century has tapped into its sportier side with a little bit of help from Wald International.
The Japanese tuner has teased its upcoming offerings that make the otherwise restrained Century a bit more eye-catching, without messing around too much with its design.

Just by looking at the pictures shared in the gallery below, you probably cannot tell what’s new, bar the larger wheels and matte black paint finish, of course. And that’s a good thing, because a car in this segment does not need any weird body kits with fender flares, large air intakes and big wings at the back, but rather some mild TLC, if customization is a must.
Wald International has answered the call by fitting new add-ons at both ends that clip on to the original bumpers, larger side steps and a discrete boot lid spoiler. This is only a teaser, so we do not know yet whether the tuner has done anything to the interior, but they should launch the aftermarket parts soon, and we will update the story with new details – if there are any.
Meanwhile, we will remind you that the third-gen Century, which entered production almost two years ago at the Higashi-Fuji plant in Japan, has a modern hybrid-gasoline propulsion system. The 5.0-liter V8 develops 376 HP (381 PS / 280 kW) and 376 lb-ft (510 Nm) of torque and is aided by the 221 HP (224 PS / 165 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) electric motor, fed by a nickel-metal battery. In this configuration, it has a peak output of 425 HP (431 PS / 317 kW).
