Just a few days after McLaren unleashed the ballistic 765LT, aftermarket specialist Prior Design has premiered its eye-catching widebody kit for the 720S.

At the front, Prior Design has created a set of six-piece flared front wheel arches that transform the stance of the British supercar and make it look even more striking. In addition, Prior Design has manufactured sharp carbon fiber canards for the 720S as well as a distinctive front splitter.

Spin around to the sides and you’ll notice a set of new air vents positioned behind the front wheels as well as a set of menacing new skirts. The widebody design continues at the rear with flared arches. Completing the bodykit is a new diffuser, rear bumper, and a towering rear wing that makes the adjustable wing of the 765LT look pedestrian.

To help fill out the flared arches, Prior Design has fitted a set of black wheels measuring 20×9 at the front and 20×12 at the rear. The car can also be lowered with a set of new springs.

Prior Design intends on building just 10 examples of its 720S widebody kit and will not sell the exterior parts individually.

No alterations have been made to the supercar’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine meaning it continues to pump out 710 hp and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. While that’s down on the 755 hp offered up by the 765LT, many aftermarket tuning companies have been able to easily fettle the 720S’s powertrain to beyond 800 hp with limited modifications. This means anyone who orders the Prior Design kit will be able to easily make their car not only more eye-catching than the 765LT but also faster (in a straight line).
