A fully restored 1969 Dodge Charger is enough to remind you why this muscle car is one of the most sought-after and iconic classics on the market right now.
This particular numbers-matching R/T 440 example resides in the UK, coming fresh out of a complete overhaul from Classic Investments and featuring a number of upgrades to make it more enjoyable in modern traffic.

The UK-based specialist fully stripped the classic Dodge, removed all rust, and upgraded the suspension by adding adjustable Koni dampers and polyurethane bushes. The brakes were similarly overhauled with a new servo unit, new 11-inch discs at the front and 11-inch drums at the rear.
The 7.2-liter V8 engine received a full rebuild as well, and is now fully balanced and fitted with a performance camshaft, a Holley 770 Street Avenger series 4 barrel carburettor and a stainless steel exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. The 727 three-speed automatic transmission is also freshly restored, as well as the drive shaft, among other.
The same theme is applied inside the cabin, with everything being either restored or completely new; prior to putting everything back together, the interior received extra soundproofing for better comfort while the seats were restored with high-quality leather from Italy. The steering wheel features natural Wenge wood grain trim, as does the new center console while the door cards are hand made out of leather.
We don’t have any price details unfortunately but we imagine that a beautifully restored 1969 Dodge Charger R/T such as this would demand plenty of zeroes to have your name on its title, especially since it resides on the other side of the Atlantic.
