McLaren has taken to social media to show another distinctive Elva with a classic livery from McLaren Special Operations (MSO).
The Elva in question pays tribute to the M6A Can-Am race car from 1967 that was driven by Bruce McLaren. It is one of the most iconic race cars in the history of the British brand and the livery just so happens to work very well on the Elva.

Most notably, the Elva is painted in a special shade of orange which despite not being quite as bright as the paint of the M6A Can-Am, is still absolutely glorious. Also included in the special livery are some silver graphics, the number ‘4’, and a painted replica of Bruce McLaren’s signature. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the speedster is how the orange paint flows seamlessly from the exterior into the open cabin and bathes the dashboard, center console, and door panels.
Rounding out the custom changes made to the car are the presence of stunning white seats.
The release of these photos comes shortly after MSO also rendered an Elva wearing a black and white livery inspired by the McLaren M1A racer of 1964. It remains to be seen if the British car manufacturer actually intends on building a select number of Elvas with these liveries but as we pointed out in our previous Elva livery article, customers will likely have nearly limitless freedom when it comes to speccing out their cars and many may opt for their own designs.
